"Operation ZAP" (1974)

This is a documentary filmed in August-September 1972.  Production finalized in December 1974.  The narration is by David M Rosser (1899-1975).

David M Rosser

The narrator of this documentary film speaks in the first person voice.  Rosser was the executive director of the Blackstone River Watershed Association and the architect of Operation ZAP and the visionary of the future regeneration and preservation of the Blackstone River Valley by an interstate linear park system.  He envisioned recreational space and river access from Worcester to Providence along the Blackstone River’s floodplain which he explained would be instrumental to sustainably cleaning up the river.
